Fun Makes Good is a Scottish design studio, founded in 2009 by Glasgow School of Art textiles graduate Eleanor Young. With a specialism in contemporary patchwork, the studio produces bold, bright, design-led interior products and upholstery as well as large scale bespoke pieces for commercial spaces and the public realm.
Our evolving homeware collection includes cushions, pouffes, blankets & wallhangings in our signature patchwork style. Our textiles are all constructed by hand in Fun Makes Good’s Perthshire studio. By sourcing and using the finest local materials wherever possible, combining rich and contrasting textures, such as wools, leather, linen and velvets alongside elements of machine embroidery and quilting, we create striking pieces that are tactile, practical and ultimately uplifting.
We also work closely with local manufacturers to produce our tableware and home accessories, ensuring our products have not travelled far in their making.
We always delight in making bespoke items for customers, collaborating with other designers & working on interesting commissions, so if you'd like to involve us in a project please get in touch!
